Cheese Gobblers
Cheese Gobblers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. crescent rolls, 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg yolk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Unroll 1 package crescent rolls (all together) on a cookie sheet.
Mix softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla in mixer until smooth.
Spread on crescent rolls (almost to edge). Roll other package of crescent rolls out on top of cheese mixture. Close up edges by mashing with a fork.
Brush top with egg yolk; sprinkle with brown sugar.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
Do not cut until completely cool.
(I usually put in refrigerator overnight.)
Cut off edges, then cut any way you like.
Store in refrigerator.
