Chalupas
Chalupas is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Made with . pork roast, . pinto beans, chopped garlic, . chili powder and . cumin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Put all ingredients in large pan and cover with water.
Cook, covered, over low heat.
Add water as needed.
After approximately 6 hours, take bones out of meat and break meat up.
Then cook with lid off into thick mixture for 1 to 2 hours.
Serve over corn chips and add the following as desired: grated cheese, chopped onion, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced avocados and hot salsa.
Serves 12 to 14.
