Mix together all ingredients except the chili sauce, grape jelly and shortening.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Melt shortening and brown the meatballs.
Remove from skillet.
Heat chili sauce and jelly in skillet until jelly melts, stirring constantly.
Stir until cooked.
Simmer 30 minutes.
Serve hot in chafing dish with toothpicks for spears.
