Cereal Refrigerator Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 2 c. brown sugar, 3 eggs, beaten, 2 tsp. vanilla and 3 c. sifted cake flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream shortening and sugar until light.
Add eggs and vanilla. Sift cake flour with baking powder and salt and add with whole wheat flour and rolled oats; mix well.
Shape into 2 rolls about 2 inches in diameter and chill in refrigerator until firm.
Slice about 1/4-inch thick.
Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Will make 5 dozen.
