Celebration Chocolate Chip Pie
Celebration Chocolate Chip Pie is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Made with (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell, eggs, c. sugar, c. butter or margarine, melted and to 4 tbsp. bourbon or 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Prepare pastry shell; set aside.
Beat eggs slightly in small mixer bowl; gradually add sugar.
Add melted butter or margarine and bourbon or vanilla; mix well.
Blend in cornstarch.
Stir in pecans and chocolate chips; pour into unbaked pastry shell.
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool 1 hour and serve warm with a dollop of Festive Whipped Cream (see recipe following).
