Cavitania
Cavitania is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage or hamburger, 1 medium onion, 1 pkg. pepperoni, 2 c. mozzarella cheese and 10 oz. can tomato purée, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Brown sausage or hamburger with onion and green pepper.
Add tomato sauce and tomato purée to meat.
Add 1/2 can water (purée can).
Put in Italian seasoning and salt.
Cook 30 minutes, uncovered.
Boil noodles; add noodles to sauce.
Put in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Top with cheese and pepperoni.
Bake at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
