Casserole Steak
Casserole Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. round steak, 1/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 3 tbsp. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Lay steak on bread board.
Combine flour, salt and pepper. Pound into steak.
Cut into serving size pieces.
Brown in hot shortening.
Place in a casserole.
Mix catsup and water.
Pour over steak.
Top with onion and green pepper rings.
Put clove in center of each lemon slice.
Arrange across top of casserole. Cover.
Bake 1 hour at 350Β°.
Serves 4 to 6.
