Casey's Vinegar Pie
Casey'S Vinegar Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 2 c. water, 1 c. vinegar, 2 tbsp. butter and 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Bring sugar, water and vinegar to boiling.
Stir in butter until melted.
Mix flour with a little cold water until smooth. Add to boiling liquid slowly and stir until thickened.
Allow to cool slightly.
Pour into shell.
Cover top lattice-fashion with pastry strips.
Bake at 450° for 10 minutes; reduce to 350° and bake about 25 minutes.
