Combine sugar, Wesson oil, eggs and hot water in mixing bowl.
Beat for 4 minutes.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add to mixture and beat.
Add carrots and nuts; mix well.
Bake in greased and floured angel food pan at 350Β° for 55 minutes.
