Carolina Pound Cake
Carolina Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 6 eggs at room temperature, 2 sticks butter or margarine, 1/2 c. crisco and 3 1/4 c. plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream sugar, butter and crisco for 10 minutes or until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beat well.
Add salt and baking powder to flour and vanilla and lemon to milk. Alternately fold in flour and milk mixtures.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
