Carob Pan Cake
Carob Pan Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 2 c. plain flour, 1 stick oleo, 3 tbsp. carob and 1/2 c. cooking oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix sugar and flour; set aside.
Boil oleo, carob, cooking oil and water.
Add to flour mixture.
Add soda in buttermilk.
Add eggs, vanilla and salt.
Pour into greased broiler pan and bake 35 minutes at 375Β°.
