Caramels
Caramels is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter, melted, 1 can sweetened condensed milk (eagle brand), 1 c. light karo syrup, 2 1/4 c. packed brown sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Melt butter.
Add remaining ingredients except vanilla.
Cook to 238Β° (candy thermometer), stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla.
Pour into lightly buttered 7 x 11-inch pan. Let stand overnight, preferably in a cool place.
Cut in small pieces and wrap.
