Caramels
Caramels is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. corn syrup, 2 1/4 c. sugar, 1 can eagle brand milk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt butter, add sugar and blend well.
Add corn syrup, stirring constantly.
Gradually add Eagle Brand milk.
Cook over moderate heat, stirring often to prevent scorching.
Cook to 248Β°.
Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
Add vanilla. Pour into 9-inch square pan and let cool.
Cut into bite size pieces and wrap each individually in wax paper.
