Caramel Popcorn
Caramel Popcorn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. light karo syrup, 1 tsp. salt, 2 sticks oleo and 6 qt. popped corn, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Stir brown sugar, Karo syrup, salt and oleo in pan.
Stir over heat until mixture boils.
Let boil for 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and baking soda.
Pour over 6 quarts of popped corn (do not use hot air popper).
Stir until well coated.
Bake at 250Β° for 1 hour.
Stir every 15 minutes.
