Caramel Nut Pound Cake

Cream butter, shortening and brown sugar.
Gradually add white sugar and continue creaming.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
Add flour and milk to cream mixture.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Blend well.
Pour batter into a tube pan sprayed with Pam. Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
