Caramel-Nut Pound Cake
Caramel-Nut Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter, 1/2 c. crisco, 1 box brown sugar, 1 c. white sugar and 5 large eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cream butter and Crisco.
Add brown sugar a little at a time, beating white sugar; beat until light and fluffy. Add at a time; beat well after each one. Beat 3 more minutes.
Sift baking powder and salt with flour and add alternately in vanilla and nuts. (Mix a little flour with nuts).
Bake in stem pan for 1 1/2 hours at 325Β°.
