Caramel Frosting
Caramel Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. dark brown sugar, firmly packed, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. milk and 2 c. powdered sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Melt butter in saucepan over low heat.
Stir in dark brown sugar and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Boil hard 2 minutes.
Stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in milk. Return pan to heat and bring to a full boil.
Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.
Stir in powdered sugar.
Beat until smooth.
If frosting is too thick, add a little milk.
