Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 1/2 qt. popped popcorn, 2 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 1 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a heavy saucepan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Boil 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add baking soda and vanilla; mix well.
Pour over popcorn, stirring well to cover.
Place in a well-greased roasting pan.
Bake at 200Β° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
Cool and break up.
