Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 qt. popcorn (3 bags microwave), 2 c. packed brown sugar, 1 c. butter, 1/2 c. corn syrup and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Spread popped corn on baking sheet; set aside.
In a large saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter and corn syrup.
Boil 5 minutes and remove from heat.
Add baking soda, vanilla and salt. Stir thoroughly; mixture will foam.
Pour over popped corn and mix around well.
Spread out as much as possible.
Bake at 250Β° for 40 minutes.
Stir every 15 minutes.
Makes 5 quarts.
