Caramel Corn
Caramel Corn is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. unpopped popcorn, 1 stick melted oleo, 1 c. light brown sugar, packed, 1/4 c. light white karo syrup and 1/2 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Pop the popcorn (do not add salt).
Put in a large casserole dish that has buttered bottom and sides.
In a small heavy saucepan, add oleo, brown sugar and Karo.
Boil 3 minutes.
Add soda (this causes syrup mixture to foam).
Pour over popcorn. Bake at 250Β° for 1 hour.
Pour out on wax paper.
To keep fresh, seal in a container.
Tastes like Cracker Jacks.
