Caramel-Chocolate Bars
Caramel-Chocolate Bars is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with (14 oz.) bag caramels, c. evaporated milk, (18 1/2 oz.) box swiss chocolate cake mix, c. evaporated milk and c. melted butter or regular margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk in top of double boiler.
Cover and place over boiling water until melted, stirring occasionally.
Keep warm.
Combine cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and butter in large bowl.
Beat with electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.
(Mixture is thick.)
Spread one-half mixture in greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
