Caramel Brownies
Caramel Brownies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided, 2/3 c. butter, melted, 1 c. nuts, chopped, 1 pkg. german chocolate cake mix and 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Combine 1/3 cup milk and caramels and heat until melted.
Combine cake mix (while caramels melt) with butter, 1/3 cup milk and nuts.
Put 1/2 of mix in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Press down.
Bake 6 minutes.
Remove.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and press down.
Pour caramel mix over this and sprinkle with remaining cake mixture.
Bake 18 minutes and allow to sit at least 6 hours (preferably overnight).
This freezes well and tastes great frozen.
