Caramel Bars
Caramel Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. (14 oz.) kraft caramels, 2/3 c. evaporated milk, german chocolate cake mix, 1 c. chopped nuts and 1 c. chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine caramels and 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk.
Melt and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine dry cake mix, 3/4 cup melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts.
Stir by hand until dough holds together.
Press half of dough into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Baked at 350Β° for 6 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crust.
Spread melted caramels over chips.
Crumble the rest of dough on top and bake 15 minutes more.
