Candy Brittle
Candy Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. corn syrup, 3 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. water, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tbsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Syrup, water until hard crackle stage.
Remove salt and vanilla (if nuts are unsalted
1 1/2 teaspoons salt).
Stir ingredients and add nuts.
Stir until all nuts are coated with candy nuts.
Pour on greased cookie sheet and press thin as possible, with 2 greased spoons.
Break into small pieces.
Store in airtight container.
Do not refrigerate.
