Candy Apples
Candy Apples is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. vanilla caramels, 2 tbsp. water, 6 crisp medium apples and chopped california walnuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Melt caramels in water in double boiler; stir until smooth. Stick wooden skewer into blossom end of each apple; dip apple in caramel syrup, turning until completely coated.
Add a few drops of water if syrup is too stiff.
Roll bottom half of each apple in chopped nuts at once.
Set on waxed paper covered cookie sheet. Chill until coating is firm.
