Candied Apple Salad
Candied Apple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice, 1 egg, 2 tbsp. flour, 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Over medium heat, stir crushed pineapple with juice, egg, flour, apple cider vinegar and sugar until thick.
Refrigerate until cool.
Peel and dice apples, then mix with pineapple mixture, 1/2 cup peanuts and Cool Whip.
Mix well and spread in a 9 x 9-inch pan.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup peanuts on top.
Refrigerate. Serve on lettuce leaves.
