California Raisin Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. raisins, 1/2 c. water, 1/3 c. jelly (currant or grape), 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 1/2 tsp. orange rind, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Rinse raisins; add water, jelly, rind and juice and bring to boil.
Blend sugar with cornstarch, salt and allspice; stir into orange mixture.
Cook, stirring, until clear.
