Cake of Many Flavors
Cake Of Many Flavors is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 3 c. sugar, 6 eggs, 3 tbsp. banana liqueur and 1 tsp. vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease and lightly flour a tube or Bundt pan.
Cream together the butter and sugar.
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add liqueur, vanilla, lemon and almond extracts and butter flavoring.
Combine all-purpose and self-rising flour and stir to mix.
Add to batter alternately with the sour cream, beating until well blended.
Pour into prepared pan and bake for about 1 hour 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into center of cake.
Turn out of pan immediately.
Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
