Cajun "Hot Dog" Sauce
Cajun "Hot Dog" Sauce is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. hamburger, 1 small can tomato paste, 4 tbsp. chili powder, 2 tbsp. minced green onions and 3 tbsp. minced onions, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Place hamburger in large pan of cold, salted water.
Bring to a boil, breaking up meat with spoon until fine consistency.
Drain meat.
Mix all ingredients with meat.
Simmer for 1 hour, stirring often.
(Add a little water if too thick).
If a stronger flavor is desired, add more chili powder.
Serve over hot dog and bun. (Great to eat while watching the Saints!!!)
