Cabbage Sausage Soup

In Dutch oven or saucepan, brown sliced sausages.
Drain, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings.
Set sausages aside.
Add cabbage and onion to drippings.

Add carrots and chicken broth. Cover; simmer about 1 hour or until vegetables are tender.
Add pepper and sausages.
Heat thoroughly.
