Cabbage Rolls
Cabbage Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 lb. pork sausage, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Combine preceding ingredients and set aside.
Drop 8 to 10 cabbage leaves in hot water to wilt.
Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf.
Fold over and fasten with toothpicks.
Place cabbage rolls in a deep baking dish.
Pour 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can of tomato sauce and equal amount of water over cabbage rolls and simmer approximately 1 1/2 hours.
This can also be baked, covered, in the oven at 375Β°.
