Cabbage Casserole
Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 medium head cabbage, chopped, 2 medium onions, chopped, 1/4 c. margarine, 1 can cream of chicken soup and 1 1/2 c. pasteurized processed cheese spread, shredded, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Cook cabbage until tender. Drain well and set aside.
Saute onions in margarine until tender. Add soup and 1/4 cup water. Stir until smooth. Add cheese. Stir more.
Mix this with cabbage. Place in buttered casserole dish.
Top with crushed crackers and a little melted margarine. Bake at 400Β° for 20 minutes.
