Cabbage Casserole
Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 28 minutes. Made with large head cabbage, butter or margarine, c. frosted flakes crumbs, cream of celery soup and c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cut cabbage coarsely; steam lightly until just wilted in water with a pinch of salt and sugar.
Melt butter in a large (13 x 9-inch) Pyrex dish.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup of Frosted Flakes over butter.
In a saucepan, mix celery soup, milk, mayonnaise and beaten egg.
Spread cabbage over crumbs in Pyrex dish.
Pour soup mixture over all.
Top with grated cheese and other 1 cup of Frosted Flakes crumbs.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Serves 10 to 12.
