Cabbage Casserole
Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 medium onion, chopped, salt and pepper to taste, 1/2 c. rice, uncooked and 1/2 medium cabbage, coarsely shredded or 1/2 to 1 lb. pkg. cabbage salad mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Brown meat and onion in skillet.
Season to taste.
Line bottom of 1 1/2 or 2-quart casserole with cabbage.
Sprinkle rice over cabbage.
Spread meat and onion mixture on top.
Pour soup over all and bake, covered, at 350Β° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on kind of rice used (instant or fast cooking requires less time).
