Cabbage Casserole
Cabbage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large head cabbage, shredded, 1 onion, chopped, 6 tbsp. butter, divided, 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup and 1 (8 oz.) processed cheese, cubed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook cabbage in boiling salted water until tender, drain. Saute onion in 5 tablespoons butter until tender, add soup and mix.
Add cheese, heat and stir until melted.
Remove.
Stir in cabbage, salt and pepper in ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
Melt butter. and stir crumbs in butter until browned, sprinkling over casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 350Β° for 20 to 30 minutes.
