Butterscotch Yams

Arrange yams in single layer in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake in a 325Β° oven for 15 minutes.
In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine remaining ingredients.

Pour over yams.
Bake, basting frequently, for 15 minutes or until glazed.
