Butterscotch Pie
Butterscotch Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 4 tbsp. flour or cornstarch, 4 egg yolk beaten, save whites, 2 c. milk and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix. Heat and stir until thickened on medium heat.
Remove from stove and 2 Tbsp. butter plus 1 tsp. vanilla.
Cool and pour into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue of 4 egg whites beaten until stiff and forms peak.
Add 8 Tbsp. sugar, 1 Tbsp. at a time and continue to beat.
Add pinch of salt, and 1 tsp. vanilla and stir.
Spread on top of butterscotch filling.
Bake 350Β° until meringue is golden brown.
