Butterscotch Pie
Butterscotch Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 eggs, separated, 1 1/2 c. brown sugar, 3 c. milk, 4 1/2 tbsp. butter and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix egg yolks with cornstarch with brown sugar and and milk mixture gradually.
Add salt. Cook, stirring constantly thickened.
Add butter and vanilla. Beat egg whites until they form soft peaks.
Add 1/2 cup sugar and beat until stiff peaks.
Pour filling in baked pie shell. Top meringue and bake at 400Β° until browned on top. Cool and chill.
