Butterscotch Cookies is an easy dinner. Made with 4 c. brown sugar, packed, 1 tsp. cream of tartar, 6 c. flour, 4 eggs and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In a bowl, cream the sugar and eggs. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
Remove from bowl and shape like a jelly roll. Refrigerate overnight.
Cut thin and bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Nuts may be added.
