Butterscotch Cashew Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c and 2 tbsp butter or marg, softened, 3/4 c and 2 tbsp packed brown sugar, 2-1/2 c flour and 1-3/4 tsp salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream butter and brown sugar.
Combine flour and salt.
Add to creamed mixture just until combined.
Press into a greased 15x10x1 cookie sheet.
Bake at 350Β°for 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned. Spread topping (recipe to follow) over crust. Sprinkle with cashews, pressing down lightly. Bake 11-13 minutes or until topping is bubbly and lightly browned. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars.
