Buttermilk Salad
Buttermilk Salad is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin, 2 c. buttermilk, 1 (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping and 1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat pineapple (juice included) until almost boiling.
Remove from heat and stir in gelatin until it is dissolved.
Allow pineapple gelatin mixture to cool completely before adding buttermilk and whipped topping.
Mix well.
Pour into 2 3/4-quart casserole dish and sprinkle top with chopped pecans.
Chill in refrigerator until firm.
