Buttermilk Chicken
Buttermilk Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. fryer chicken, 1 1/2 c. buttermilk, 3/4 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Dip chicken into 1/4 cup buttermilk, then roll in seasoned flour (salt and pepper).
Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Put chicken in pan, skin side down.
Bake, uncovered, in a 375Β° oven for 30 minutes.
Turn chicken and bake for 15 minutes.
Blend 1 cup buttermilk and soup; pour around chicken.
Bake 15 minutes more, or until done.
