Buttermilk Chicken
Buttermilk Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 frying chicken, 1 1/2 c. buttermilk, 3/4 c. flour, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Dip chicken in 1/2 cup buttermilk and roll in seasoned flour. Melt margarine in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch deep pan.
Put chicken in pan, skin side down.
Bake for 30 minutes at 425Β°.
Turn and bake for 15 minutes more.
Mix remaining buttermilk with soup and pour around chicken.
Bake for 15 minutes longer or until tender.
