Buttermilk Cake
Buttermilk Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. shortening, 4 eggs, beaten, 1/2 tsp. soda and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream sugar and shortening; add beaten eggs.
Add soda to buttermilk.
Sift flour and baking powder.
Add in small portions to other ingredients.
Add vanilla and lemon flavoring.
Bake for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes at 350Β° in large greased and floured tube pan.
