Buttermilk Biscuits

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and soda together.
Cut in butter with 2 knives or pastry blender.
Add buttermilk and mix quickly but thoroughly.
Turn onto floured board.
Knead lightly for a few seconds.
Roll out to about 1/2-inch thickness and cut. Place on buttered baking sheet and brush with milk.
Bake in very hot oven.
