Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. lard, 2 c. self-rising flour and 3/4 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

In mixing bowl, cut lard into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Make a well in the center.
Add buttermilk all at once.
Stir quickly with fork just until dough follows a fork around the bowl.
Divide dough in 8 pieces.
Form each piece into a ball.
Place in greased 9-inch pie plate.
Press to flatten tops.
Bake in 450Β° oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 8 biscuits.
