Buttermilk Biscuits
Buttermilk Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. plain flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, 5 tbsp. shortening and 1/2 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift flour.
Mix in baking powder and salt. Work in shortening.
Pour in milk.
May need a little more milk.
Flour board and knead dough a little.
Dough will be soft and sticky. Place small amount of flour in hands.
Roll lightly a small amount of dough into a ball.
Place on greased pan.
Cook at 400Β° until lightly brown.
Place butter on top of biscuit and return to oven until golden brown.
