Melt margarine; stir in powdered sugar.
Then add Cool Whip.
Put a layer of cake in bottom of dish, then Cool Whip mixture.
Add another layer of cake, then the rest of Cool Whip mixture.
Top with Butterfinger crumbles; refrigerate.
