Butterdips

Melt butter in an oblong 13 x 9-inch pan.
Sift together dry ingredients; add milk.
Stir slowly until dough just clings together.
Turn onto a floured board.
Coat with flour and knead lightly about 10 times.
Roll dough out to 1/2-inch thick rectangle.
Cut into strips using a pizza cutter.
Dip strips into melted butter on both sides and arrange in pan.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 450° in a metal pan or 425° in a glass pan.
