Buttercream Frosting
Buttercream Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 6 tbsp. butter, 3/4 c. cocoa, 2 2/3 c. confectioners sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/3 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In a small mixer bowl, beat butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add about half of the powdered sugar, beating well. Beat in milk and the vanilla.
Gradually beat in remaining powdered sugar, then add milk, if necessary, to make frosting of spreading consistency.
Frost tops and sides of two 8 or 9-inch layers.
